The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) is the province’s cancer research institute, funded by the Government of Ontario. We bring together scientists, clinicians, patients, caregivers and innovators from across the province and around the world to take on the biggest challenges in cancer.

Through our cutting-edge research, collaborative networks, and strategic investments, we work to find cancer earlier, develop more effective treatments, and improve outcomes for generations to come.

 By advancing Ontario-made cancer innovations along with our commercialization partner, FACIT, we also help grow the province’s economy — creating local jobs and new companies, attracting investment to Ontario and bringing new discoveries to patients worldwide.
