The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) is an independent, scientific nonprofit organization that sets public quality standards to help ensure the quality of medicines, dietary supplements, and food ingredients worldwide.
Through the USP–NF and the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC), USP actively conducts scientific research and develops science-based monographs, analytical methods, and reference standards that support manufacturers and regulatory authorities globally.
