Join us for the launch of our groundbreaking report titled “Status of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) in Canada’s Life Sciences Sector”, which was collaboratively developed by Shift Health and Life Sciences Ontario, with invaluable support from Pfizer and adMare BioInnovations. This highly anticipated launch event will be co-hosted by Life Sciences Ontario and the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada, and will take place in the MaRS Auditorium in Toronto.

This report provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of IDEA within Canada’s life sciences sector, and it sheds light on the progress, challenges and opportunities that are shaping IDEA within our industry. It provides important recommendations for shaping policies, strategies and initiatives that will drive positive change. We believe that it is a pivotal moment for collective action in the sector, as we recognise the significance of uniting to forge a future that prioritises inclusion.

We are honoured to have an exceptional lineup of keynote speakers who will share their insights and experiences:

  • Ambassador David L. Cohen, US Ambassador to Canada
  • Najah Sampson, President of Pfizer Canada
  • Gordon C. McCauley, President & CEO of adMare BioInnovations
  • Wanda Deschamps, Founder and Principal of Liberty Co

These eminent speakers will ignite engaging conversations, offer fresh perspectives, and inspire a commitment to action. Their participation in this event conveys the critical importance of embedding inclusion and diversity in Canada’s life sciences sector.

We encourage you to join us in this milestone event featuring the presentation of the report and a stimulating panel discussion, followed by a cocktail and networking reception where connections and conversations can flourish.
