Ottawa’s next steps on life sciences a turning point for health system, economic and societal recovery from COVID-19

While life sciences is a crucial pillar of our economy, and holds the key to Canada’s response, recovery, and resilience efforts in the context of the current and future pandemics, there is widespread consensus that the sector is not achieving its full potential. We need a more attractive commercial environment for companies—one that encourages investment, drives innovation, and ensures that new health technologies are able to reach hospitals, clinics, and patients.
