La Cité
The Technology Access Centre in Bio-Innovation (TAC-B) at College La Cité in Ottawa supports Canadian innovation through collaborative research projects. Our co-funded research projects grant access to leading experts, cutting-edge equipment, and the development of recruitable talent, while 100% of the intellectual property remains with the company.
The TAC-B supports applied research projects in health biotechnology. We offer an animal cell
culture suite, genetics suite, artificial intelligence, smart prototyping (3D-printing), biochemical analysis portfolio, analytical chemistry portfolio, biosafety level II facility (that allows us to work with pathogenic bacteria, yeast, and viruses), a human research ethics committee, and an in-house medical clinic.
We have access to grants that support industry-college partnerships and industry-universitycollege partnerships. We are proud that our industrial partners are from various parts of Canada.
For more information on how we can support your health biotechnology projects, please contact
