Introduction of Keynote by Biogen GM, Marina Vasiliou

6:15pm:        Keynote Speaker: Dr. Anirvan Ghosh, Senior Vice President, Head of Research and Early Development, Biogen

Dr. Ghosh will discuss the Past and Future of treatment of Neurological disease and the impact Biogen has had on patients around the world.

6:40pm:        Panel Discussion:  EVEN Better in Toronto:  What is the Neuroscience opportunity for the Toronto Region?

How have things have changed and evolved in neuroscience over the past four decades?  How has the role of patients evolved and what has been the impact on them and their families?  What are the trends that will shape neuroscience research and treatment in the future?  Finally how do we create the right ecosystem for the emergence of our own globally scaled biotech?
